Vinegar vs. sugar: can a kitchen staple tame blood sugar spikes?

NCT ID NCT07100977

Summary

This study aims to see if taking a Bragg apple cider vinegar supplement before a meal helps control blood sugar levels better than a placebo. It will involve 24 healthy adults who have slightly elevated blood sugar or other markers of metabolic syndrome. Researchers will measure how participants' blood sugar and insulin respond after a standardized meal when they take the vinegar supplement compared to a dummy pill.
