Summary
This study surveyed 125 emergency room doctors in Colombia to see how often they use a specific checklist called the Alvarado score to help diagnose appendicitis. The goal was to understand doctors' awareness and use of this tool, not to test a new treatment. The results help identify if this diagnostic method is being used consistently in emergency departments.
