Summary
This study looked at how well hospitals followed a specific recovery checklist for adults having urgent, simple appendix removal surgery. It tracked if following the checklist was linked to fewer complications, shorter hospital stays, and if patients could safely go home earlier. The goal was to understand if this standardized approach helps patients recover better without changing their normal medical care.
