Your phone as your physical therapist? new study tests app for shoulder surgery recovery
NCT ID NCT05789784
Summary
This study is testing if a smartphone app can work as well as standard physical therapy for recovery after reverse shoulder replacement surgery. About 100 people will be randomly assigned to either use the app for guided exercises or attend traditional in-person therapy sessions. Researchers will compare pain and shoulder function between the two groups for six months after surgery.
