Can a phone app fight child malnutrition? new trial aims to find out
NCT ID NCT05590351
Summary
This study is testing whether a smartphone app can help new mothers in Pakistan feed their babies better. Researchers will give 300 pregnant women either the app, which sends weekly tips, or standard in-person advice. They want to see if the app leads to more babies being exclusively breastfed for six months and fed nutritious foods later on, which could help prevent stunting and other health problems.
