Your watch could warn of a silent killer

NCT ID NCT07210021

Summary

This study is testing a new smartphone app called AK+ Guard™ that aims to detect dangerously high potassium levels in people with chronic kidney disease. The app analyzes a simple, one-lead heart rhythm reading, which can be taken with devices like an Apple Watch. Researchers want to see if the app is accurate and easy for patients to use at home to help catch this serious condition early.
