Can your phone nag you to better dental health? new study for teens with braces
NCT ID NCT07288853
Summary
This study is testing whether daily reminder notifications from a mobile phone app can help teenagers with braces maintain better oral hygiene. Researchers will compare three groups of teens: one using the app with reminders, one using the app without reminders, and a group receiving standard care only. They will measure changes in plaque, gum health, and the teens' knowledge and habits over 24 weeks to see if the digital reminders make a difference.
