Phone app aims to soothe mysterious aches and pains

Summary
This study is testing whether an 8-week self-management mobile app can help adults who experience distressing physical symptoms that doctors can't fully explain. About 110 participants will be randomly assigned to either use the app or continue their usual care. Researchers will check if the app helps reduce symptom severity and improves related mental health and stress regulation.
