Phone app aims to cool down Menopause's hot flashes

NCT ID NCT06718803

Summary

This study tested whether a mobile app could help reduce hot flashes and sleep problems in menopausal women. 90 participants were randomly assigned to use either a hypnotherapy app or a basic health-tracking app daily for five weeks, all from home. Researchers wanted to see if the app was easy to use and if it could lessen the frequency and severity of hot flashes.
