Phone app aims to tackle forgotten pills for high blood pressure
NCT ID NCT04708756
Summary
This study tested whether a smartphone app called Collabree could help adults with high blood pressure remember to take their daily medication. Researchers in Switzerland randomly assigned 181 participants to either use the app or receive standard care to see if the app improved pill-taking habits. The main goal was to see if better medication adherence, tracked by a smart pillbox, would also lead to lower blood pressure over 90 days.
