Phone app aims to cut wait times for critical hip surgery recovery
NCT ID NCT07201116
Summary
This study tested whether a mobile phone app could help people recover faster after hip replacement surgery. The app showed patients nearby rehabilitation centers with available appointments and costs, while other patients used standard care. Researchers measured how quickly patients started therapy, their hip function, pain levels, and quality of life to see if the app improved recovery.
