Phone app aims to be a lifeline for breast cancer patients on home chemo
NCT ID NCT05743686
Summary
This small pilot study tested whether a smartphone app could help patients with metastatic breast cancer better manage the side effects of their oral chemotherapy pills. The goal was to see if the app improved communication with their healthcare team by tracking symptoms and reducing unnecessary phone calls. The study involved 28 patients who were already taking specific oral chemotherapy medications.
