New app aims to help older women regain bladder control from home

NCT ID NCT07427693

Summary

This study is testing whether a mobile app called 'Oups!' and a connected vaginal device can help older women manage urinary incontinence (involuntary urine leakage) at home. Thirty-six women aged 55 and over will use the app and device for 12 weeks to perform guided pelvic floor muscle exercises. Researchers want to see if this approach is easy to use, acceptable to participants, and effective at reducing leaks and improving quality of life.
