App and AI video may beat brochures for catheter training
NCT ID NCT07489261
First seen Mar 27, 2026 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 8 times
Summary
This study compares two modern teaching methods—a mobile app and an AI-powered video—against a standard brochure for people who need to learn clean intermittent catheterization. About 99 adults will be split into three groups to see which method improves how well they follow the routine, their confidence, and how easy they find it. The goal is to reduce infections and hospital visits by making training more effective.
