Summary
This study tests a mix of drugs to treat aplastic anemia and low-risk myelodysplastic syndrome (MDS), conditions where the bone marrow doesn't make enough blood cells. The treatment uses horse-derived antibodies to kill certain immune cells, plus other drugs to suppress the immune system and boost white blood cell growth. The goal is to improve blood counts and reduce the need for transfusions, but ongoing management is still needed.
