Scientists test if generic blood thinner works the same as brand name
NCT ID NCT06043297
Summary
This study aimed to see if a new version of the blood-thinning drug apixaban gets into the bloodstream the same way as an already approved version. It involved 30 healthy adult volunteers who each took both pills on separate occasions while fasting. The goal was to check if the two products are bioequivalent, meaning they work the same in the body.
