First seen Jan 02, 2026 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 20 times

Summary

This study tests whether adding the experimental drug APG-2575 (Lisaftoclax) to the standard medicine azacitidine helps older adults with newly diagnosed acute myeloid leukemia (AML) live longer. About 486 participants who cannot have strong chemotherapy will receive either the combo or a placebo plus azacitidine. The main goal is to see if the combination improves overall survival.
