Summary
This study tested whether a new drug combination (APF530) works better than a standard one (ondansetron) at preventing nausea and vomiting in cancer patients receiving strong chemotherapy. It involved 942 adults who were about to start their first round of this type of treatment. Researchers compared how well each combination prevented sickness in the days following chemotherapy.
