Scientists hunt for clues in blood to track rare disease
NCT ID NCT06694363
Summary
This study aims to find new blood markers to better monitor Activated PI3K Delta Syndrome (APDS), a rare and serious immune disorder. Researchers will collect blood samples from about 14 patients aged 12 and older who are taking a specific medication for APDS. By analyzing these samples over two years, they hope to learn how the disease changes and identify signs that can help doctors track its severity and the effects of treatment.
