New surgical technique aims to ease post-hemorrhoidectomy pain

Summary
This study tests whether using argon plasma coagulation (a special energy tool) during open hemorrhoid surgery can lower pain and complications compared to the usual method. One hundred adults with severe hemorrhoids (grade III-IV) will be randomly assigned to one of two surgery groups. Pain levels and side effects will be tracked for up to six months after surgery.
