New anchor device aims to ease prolapse surgery recovery

Summary
This study is testing a new medical device called Anchorsure® to treat a type of pelvic organ prolapse (when organs slip down into the vagina). The device is meant to make surgery faster and less painful. Researchers will follow 120 women for 3 years to see how well it works and if it causes any side effects.
