Heart valve replacement study tests which lasts longer
NCT ID NCT07210541
Summary
This study compared two surgical methods for replacing a worn-out aortic valve in patients aged 60-74. Researchers tracked 93 patients who received either a stented biological valve or a donor tissue valve (allograft). They measured safety, survival rates, and complications like stroke or the need for repeat surgery over time.
