10-Year watch on Life-Saving aortic stent begins

NCT ID NCT07166133

Summary

This study will track the long-term safety and performance of an already-approved medical device—a specialized stent graft—used to treat dangerous bulges (aneurysms) or tears (dissections) in the aortic arch, a major blood vessel near the heart. It will follow 125 patients for 5 to 10 years after their procedure to see how well the device works over time and monitor for complications like stroke, paralysis, or device failure. The goal is to gather real-world data to better understand the long-term outcomes of this treatment.
