New anchor technique tested to stop deadly aneurysm leaks

Summary
This study is testing whether adding small metal anchors to a standard stent graft improves long-term results for treating a dangerous bulge in the body's main artery (an abdominal aortic aneurysm). It will compare the anchored procedure against the standard procedure in 300 patients whose arteries are wider than usual at the treatment site. The main goal is to see which method better prevents leaks, movement of the stent, or further growth of the aneurysm over five years.
