First seen Mar 27, 2026 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 7 times

Summary

This study looks at a special stent that doctors modify themselves to treat large aneurysms in the chest and belly area. The goal is to see if this less invasive approach is as safe and effective as traditional open surgery. About 80 people aged 50 and older with aneurysms that meet repair criteria will be enrolled. The main focus is on survival and major complications within the first month, and success of the treatment after one year.
