New eye injection trial aims to halt vision loss from diabetes and clots

NCT ID NCT07259928

Summary

This study is testing a new drug called ANXV to see if it is safe and might help people with two serious eye conditions: diabetic retinopathy and retinal vein occlusion. A small group of 12 adults will receive the drug as a slow injection into a vein for five days and be monitored for four months. The main goals are to check for side effects and see if the treatment improves vision or reduces the need for other medications.
