Summary
This study tests a non-invasive device that sends mild electrical pulses to the balance system in the ear to see if it can ease anxiety in teenagers aged 12 to 17. About 60 teens with generalized anxiety disorder will use either the active device or a sham (inactive) device for 30 minutes a day, 5 days a week, for 12 weeks. The goal is to measure changes in anxiety and sleep quality without using medication.
