Summary
This study tested whether a single dose of an experimental medication called BNC210 could quickly reduce anxiety during a stressful social task. It involved 370 adults diagnosed with social anxiety disorder. Participants took either the medication or a placebo pill and then completed a social challenge about an hour later to measure their anxiety levels.
