First seen Feb 28, 2026 · Last updated May 14, 2026 · Updated 6 times

Summary

This study looks at how feeling anxious before corrective jaw surgery affects your body during the operation and your recovery afterward. Researchers will measure anxiety levels in 45 adults before surgery, then track heart rate, blood pressure, pain, and facial swelling after the procedure. The goal is to see if higher anxiety leads to more discomfort and slower healing, which could help doctors improve care for future patients.
