Smartwatch score aims to keep heart patients moving

NCT ID NCT07211282

First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 12, 2026 · Updated 27 times

Summary

This study tests whether a special activity score, called the Antwerp Activity Index (AAI), can help people who finished a hospital-based heart rehab program stay physically active. About 318 adults will wear a smartwatch for 4 months and do an exercise test. Half will get the AAI score to guide them, and the other half will not, so researchers can see if the score helps them stick to exercise guidelines.
