First seen Jan 10, 2026 · Last updated May 13, 2026 · Updated 18 times
Summary
This study tested whether a daily cream with antioxidants and SPF 50 protects skin cell DNA better than a cream with SPF alone. Fifty-two healthy adults applied the assigned cream to their face every day for 12 weeks. Researchers took cheek swabs at the start and end to measure DNA damage. The goal was to see if the antioxidant cream offers extra protection against everyday sun and pollution.
