NCT ID NCT05826782

First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 12, 2026 · Updated 22 times

Summary

This study looked at 30 men with low sperm motility (asthenozoospermia), a common cause of male infertility. Participants were randomly given either antioxidant supplements or a placebo for three months. The goal was to see if antioxidants improve sperm movement and to understand the proteins and pathways involved. The study aims to provide better evidence for treatments that are currently based on clinical experience rather than solid proof.
