Study checks blood thinner safety after hospital release

NCT ID NCT07278648

Summary

This study looks back at medical records to see how often patients who leave the hospital with blood thinner prescriptions later visit the emergency room for bleeding or clotting problems. Researchers will follow 150 patients for 90 days after discharge to understand these risks. The goal is to gather information that could help improve medication safety when patients transition home.
