New weapons against devastating nerve attacks

NCT ID NCT07182409

Summary

This study aims to see if new antibody drugs can better control severe flare-ups in people with Neuromyelitis Optica Spectrum Disorder (NMOSD), a rare disease where the immune system attacks nerves and eyes. It will follow about 40 patients in China for 6 months to compare the effectiveness and safety of two specific antibody treatments. The goal is to find better ways to reduce disability and prevent future attacks during these critical flare-up periods.
