Trial aims to find best drug for mysterious breast disease
NCT ID NCT07454772
Summary
This study aims to find the best medical treatment for granulomatous lobular mastitis (GLM), a rare, chronic inflammatory breast disease. Researchers will compare an 8-week course of antibiotics to an 8-week course of steroid pills in 72 women to see which leads to faster, more complete healing with fewer side effects and less need for surgery. The goal is to create a clear, step-by-step treatment plan for this condition.
