Doctors get report cards on antibiotic prescriptions in fight against superbugs
NCT ID NCT07189364
Summary
This study aims to see if giving hospital doctors a report comparing their antibiotic use to their colleagues, along with a guide on best practices, helps reduce unnecessary prescriptions. It involves about 650 doctors across more than 29 Ontario hospitals. The goal is to control the overuse of antibiotics, which is a major driver of dangerous drug-resistant infections.
