Summary

This study aimed to find the better antibiotic for common skin infections like boils and cellulitis. Researchers compared two widely used pills, doxycycline and trimethoprim-sulfamethoxazole (TMP-SMX), in 269 outpatients. The goal was to see which drug was more effective at curing the infection and preventing it from coming back.
