First seen Jan 27, 2026 · Last updated Apr 30, 2026 · Updated 15 times

Summary

This study tested whether a long course of the antibiotic doxycycline could control a rare type of eye lymphoma (OAMZL) linked to a bacterial infection. 44 newly diagnosed patients received the antibiotic, and doctors monitored for infection return, retreating if needed. The goal was to see how long the cancer stayed under control without standard chemotherapy or radiation.
