Can a simple reminder stop doctors from overprescribing antibiotics?

NCT ID NCT06436690

Summary

This study tests whether two simple, low-cost reminders can help junior doctors in Nepal prescribe fewer unnecessary antibiotics. It involves 56 doctors across five hospitals who will be asked to write down their diagnosis when prescribing and will receive feedback on their prescription rates. The goal is to find easy ways to reduce antibiotic overuse, which fuels dangerous drug-resistant infections.
