Summary
This study tested different anti-smoking video messages to see which ones best discourage smoking among young adults in China. Researchers enrolled 1,541 participants aged 18-25, including both smokers and non-smokers. They compared messages about health risks, tobacco industry tactics, mental health, secondhand smoke, and social acceptance to see which most reduced the intention to smoke.
