First seen Jan 22, 2026 · Last updated Jun 13, 2026 · Updated 20 times

Summary

This early-stage study tested a new treatment called Anti-ALPP CAR-T cells in 5 adults with advanced solid tumors that had not responded to standard therapies. The therapy uses a patient's own immune cells, modified to attack a protein (ALPP) found on some cancer cells. The main goals were to check safety and see if tumors shrank.
