Emergency anthrax treatment study aims to save lives in a crisis

NCT ID NCT03569553

Summary

This study will evaluate the safety and effectiveness of a treatment called AIGIV for people who develop inhalational anthrax during a major exposure event, like a bioterror attack. It will only be activated if such an event occurs. Researchers will collect information on patient survival, illness severity, and how the drug behaves in the body to understand if it helps control the disease.
