NCT ID NCT07358845

First seen Jan 31, 2026 · Last updated May 21, 2026 · Updated 14 times

Summary

This study examined whether steroids given to pregnant women before a premature delivery change the blood counts of their babies. Researchers looked at over 1,000 premature infants born before 36 weeks. They compared blood samples taken in the first day of life based on when and how much steroid was given. The goal was to understand these effects, not to test a new treatment.
