Summary
This study tests a program called All Nations Snuff Out Smokeless (ANSOS) designed to help American Indian adults quit smokeless tobacco. The program includes group and individual counseling tailored to Native culture. 384 participants will be randomly assigned to either the ANSOS program or a general health education program. Researchers will track how many people successfully quit for 7 days and for longer periods over 12 months.
