Hospital discharge gap: why anorexia patients struggle to stay well

NCT ID NCT04046926

Summary

This study followed 118 women who had been successfully treated for anorexia in the hospital to see how many regained a healthy weight after going home. Researchers tracked patients for up to 60 weeks after discharge to measure how often and when weight loss relapses occurred. The goal was to understand what happens after hospital treatment ends and identify better strategies to help patients maintain their recovery long-term.
