First seen Jan 10, 2026 · Last updated Apr 19, 2026 · Updated 14 times

Summary

This study follows young people who were hospitalized for anorexia nervosa between 2016 and 2021 to understand their long-term recovery. Researchers will check in with 140 former patients 4-9 years after their hospital stay to see how they're doing physically and mentally. The study doesn't test new treatments but instead tracks recovery patterns and quality of life over time.
