Summary
This study aims to understand how anorexia nervosa develops in teenagers by tracking changes in brain function and body metabolism over three years. Researchers are following 100 girls, half with anorexia and half without, using brain scans and other tests. The goal is to find new ways to predict the course of the illness and potentially influence it in the future.
