Scientists probe link between control and anorexia thinking
NCT ID NCT07274722
Summary
This study aims to understand how feeling a lack of control might influence the detailed, analytical thinking style often seen in people with anorexia nervosa. Researchers will observe 54 participants who are already in treatment for anorexia, measuring their reaction times during specific tasks. The goal is to gather knowledge about the disorder's underlying mechanisms, not to test a new treatment.
