Scientists hunt for new clue in chronic back pain disease

NCT ID NCT07117344

Summary

This study aims to understand if a protein in the blood, called progranulin, is linked to ankylosing spondylitis (AS) activity. Researchers will compare blood levels of this protein in 80 people with AS and 80 healthy people. The goal is to see if progranulin could be a useful marker to help doctors better understand and monitor the disease.
