New machine aims to fortify wobbly ankles in athletes

NCT ID NCT06801483

Summary

This study tested a new ankle-strengthening machine to see if it works better than traditional elastic band exercises for athletes with chronic ankle instability. Fourteen young athletes with wobbly ankles followed a six-week training program using either the machine or the bands. Researchers measured changes in ankle strength, balance, and sports performance to see which method was more effective.
